Windows Live Mail

Download and run Windows Live Essentials file

Choose the programs you want to install (Mail) and click Install

Open the program and you will see Add your email accounts dialog. Alternatively you can access it through Accounts > Email.
Type in your email, display name and password and check Manually configure server settings box. Then click Next

In following screen choose what server type you would like to use (POP or IMAP) and provide other details from POP/IMAP/SMTP table as shown on pictures below.
Once you finished click Next and Finish

Mozilla Thunderbird

Download and run Mozilla Thunderbird setup file

Simply do Next > Next > Install to install it on your machine and click Finish after it's done
Thunderbird e-mail will open automatically. Choose I think I'll configure my account later option and also define what do you want to use Thunderbird for

Choose Tools > Account Settings... > Account Actions > Add Mail Account to add a new mailbox
Enter your name, email address and password and click Continue button. You should see following window

Click on Manual config to access extended configuration options. Choose desirable incoming server type, define other options as shown in a settings table or in the pictures bellow and click Done

Confirm following security exceptions whilst sending/receiving an email for the first time

Microsoft Outlook

Open MS Outlook 2010, navigate to File > Info and click Add Account button

On next dialog tick Manually configure server settings or additional server types radio box and click Next

On Choose Service window pick Internet E-mail option and click Next

On following screen enter your name, e-mail address that you want to add, choose which incoming mail server you would like to use (POP3 or IMAP), define incoming/outgoing mail servers, and also provide your user name (which is same as e-mail address) and password.
Also tick the Remember password box and click on More Settings ... button

You will see following window. Select Outgoing Server tab and tick My outgoing server (SMTP) requires authentication box. Press OK button

On a previous window click Next. Your settings will be checked against the e-mail server and you will be notified about the results

Click Close and Finish
